Global Medicine Network:  "A free and open service for the international health community [...] the Global Medicine Network was created to establish personal and professional contacts among individuals and organizations working in international health and global medicine. The aim is to promote cooperative relationships in areas such as humanitarian service, medicine and supply donation, research, health education and visitor exchange."

Health Volunteers Overseas:  "Health Volunteers Overseas is a private non-profit organization dedicated to improving the availability and quality of health care in developing countries through the training and education of local health care providers."

Pediatric AIDS Corps:  "The Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative at Baylor College of Medicine has created a global network of clinical centers modeled after two landmark HIV/AIDS care and treatment centers it constructed and opened in Constanta, Romania and Gaborone, Botswana."

Total Health:  "Total Health is a U.S. based organization that is committed to providing high quality, consistent and reliable medical care in Central America. The Banyan: This facility focuses on providing psychiatric and medical care for mentally ill destitute women in Chennai, India. "Since its inception, The Banyan has reached out to over 1,500 women in need and rehabilitated over 850 wandering individuals struggling with mental illness." The Banyan Blog: "The Banyan is an organization based in Chennai that works for the cause of homeless persons with mental illness. We started in the year 1993 as a humane response to a woman in distress. Today we have grown into an organization that is taking a lead in catalyzing change for homeless people with mental illness."

Manos Juntas:  Cofounded by Dr. Boyd Shook, this charitable organization provides care in Mina El Limón, Nicaragua, and other settings.

Medical Aid to Northern Uganda:  "MANU is a joint United States-Chicago based and Ugandan not-for-profit organization committed to the mission of promoting and providing sustainable health care services to the needy. We plan to help fight disease and poverty in Northern Uganda especially those high risk populations and the most vulnerable, regardless of their social status, ethnic origin, religious or political affiliation."

ServeHAITI:  This nonprofit, faith-based organization is dedicated to promoting a better quality of life for the people living in the impoverished region of Grand-Bois, Haiti.
